Our supporters make it possible for us to provide a safe home, stability, and opportunities for vulnerable children in Sri Lanka. We are committed to ensuring that every contribution is used responsibly and directly benefits the children in our care.
How Donations Are Used
All children living at AMITSU attend local government schools, where tuition is free. Donations therefore support the additional resources and opportunities that help them thrive.
We believe donors deserve full visibility into how their support is used. For this reason, receipts and documentation for purchases made using donated funds can be shared with donors upon request. Typically, within one day of a donation being used, we are able to provide receipts or proof of purchase showing exactly how the funds were spent.

Nutritious Meals Every Day
Meals and wellness efforts consume almost 40% of the budget. The nourishment, diet and requisites of a healthy growth of kids is of utmost importance to us. Our meals are from what we procure plus grow in our vegetable gardens. Plus all the medical needs are met by local doctors around the area as well as those from Colombo.
